That’s right, its an April Fool’s day prank! Anibal and I worked on the visual effects and they used my house for all the Girl gamer party shots (as well as the table crash). It was a ton of fun making it and a lot of work to pump out in only a few short weeks.

It is the organization point around which a group of filmmakers can band together, pool our resources and talents, and make movies for the sake of movies.

This is Virva’s first film. “Good Morning Feeling”, directed & edited by (and yes, starring) me. I am not trying to be a jack of all trades with my movie; we’re supposed to direct and edit our individual pieces. Starring in it came about because of the fact that no one else was better for the role, meaning: everyone else in the group was too camera shy for the first movie). My crew is amazing, this film would be nothing without them. I love the way this turned out!

The films depicts an individual presented with a euphoric day and the feeling it instills. The shots are beautifully composed, the execution is hilarious, and the end product exceeded even my expectations. I cannot thank my crew enough. Of all the projects I’ve ever worked on, this one I am most proud of.

This was a T-mobile ad contest for the new (at the time) G1 phone. The winning entry was to be used in a national ad campaign from what I understand. Though they didn’t win, I still love the product. I personally was, unfortunately, not part of this particular video.

Every video put out by this group is always so entertaining and so well made. Granted, I am a member but that does not affect my judgement. I have been part of numerous other groups and projects over the years, and can always take a step back and admit when they’re crappy (as they usually are). But Star Wipers just seem to have the magical combination of creativity, know-how, and attitude (plus a bit of Cyborg actors).

Start with a great story, add in knowledge of your gear and the filming process, a generous portion of great direction, and then top it off with a dollop bringing-it-all-together. Consistently great work!
